Why am I getting hit mid combo?

Why can I be mid combo and be interrupted by an opponents normal attack or special?

Another 'feature' of the new AI 'enhancements' man. Other threads talking about this too.

I was fighting an arena fight yesterday against cable with Mordo. We both had sp3's i did mine first. Right when it ended I swiped forward to get that cheap combo that the AI always seems to get after it uses Mordo's sp3. My first hit landed but cable was able to activate his sp3 right in the middle of my combo. That's the first time I've seen it happen but it was crazy!

This happens to me too. I can't stand it!

Nightcrawler seems to be the one that can do this the most. I'll be in the middle of a combo and he'll bamf away and then attack me. I'm not sure if he's supposed to be able to do this or not, but I hate it.

I've had Vision do a SP2 before and not do any damage or drain his power before too. It was like a freak one time thing for me, but I have seen it.
