How long did it take you to R4 a 5* for the first time?

I’ve been playing pretty consistently for a few months now and I’m still a little ways away from R4ing my 5* Hype. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you all?

I've been playing almost a year and I'm at the point I can almost do 3 rank 4 5 stars. I've been holding off waiting to get T4cc that I need. I'll admit I did rank 5 a bunch of 4 stars before I adopted ranking my 5 stars.

It took 2 years for first rank4 5*

Nowadays for new players it's pretty easy to get stuffs
But back then it was too tough to get things , no wars no big rewards from quests.

Never. I’m still trying to r3 my 5* Dormammu that i got last month (aka my first 5*)

Yeah it took forever to get my first r4 too. Rank up materials are so much easier to get now. Pretty sure act 4 wasn't around for some time when I started. Not only are rank up materials more available so are 5 star shards. It took over a year before I got a 5 star champ if I remember correctly. I started a second account 3 months ago and already have 3 5* champs.

Initial phase of this game was great
Not much bugs, easier to understand champions abilities and excitement

But nowadays it's depleting, in 3 years of my gameplay I'm having trouble in switching screens on game, it took ages to respond, update 20.0 ruined very much
Recently updated 20.1 in hope of getting things sorted but no its same again.

That's a difficult question to answer, because when I first started playing this was not possible to do. So I'm not sure from what point it would be fair to start counting. It took quite a while just to get my first 5* champ at all. Today, it seems to me to be faster to acquire the cats for one R4 than it used to take to get one 5* crystal at all.

Over a year... Still haven't. Not because of lack of resources. I can Rank 4 Hyperion right now, but I'd rather wait for the extra T4 Tech for Sparky

2 and a half years so far not even a rank 3 5 star, so very long.
(I play 3 hours daily each day I can 5/7)
