new Venom in Quests (like 5.3.3 Dire Warning)

Let's start by saying that I'm up for buffing "old" champs, it's good, it keeps the game alive. Great idea.
The thing I don't like is when those champs were used in story quests or existing quests (RtTL or LOL) and get the new version of themselves. For some reason I thought the "new" Venom would not replace the "old" Venom in 5.3.3 , I just tried and that dude is all beefed up now... Is that normal?
For new content like next monthly event quest, or daily quests, or any new content it is normal to use the "new" Venom but for the story quests?

Strange. Rulk in LOL never updated and neither did Rhino in ROL. Not sure if that was meant to be intentional or not.

LoL and RoL don’t get updated because it could make it much harder

RoL is not that difficult once you have the right champs, LOL is a different story though...
Still, it makes the existing content harder for players who didn't do it before, it is not fair compared to those players who finished it before the buff...

The buffs to the old champs and newer champs are making old content easier every month. Not sure what the complaints are for

Act 4 Venom was already nerfed like crazy. Even after the buff he is still much easier than he used to be.

why does kabam have a problem getting mcoc to appear in the update list????
always gotta manually search it......

And you have to intercept him with CAIW… yeah glad my biggest issue now is Ultron and swaths 5.3 😅

not only intercept, you can bait his heavy. block a combo and he will then go to a heavy. caiw will take almost no block damage and juggs heavy will give you a perfect opening. lucky that CAIW has insane block pro can block all day. you can still use your parry to get a perfect block. then bait the heavy. thats how i will do it.

I guess that's how the world works: everything gets buffed or nothing does. Well, seeing I need to do do 5.3.3 myself as well, I guess I'm warned.

Kabam has said that updates in stores is not up to them. They push the update live and its up to google/itunes to then have the update available in their respective stores... so blame google or itunes for that one
