Holiday Gifting Crystals??? 2019 2020???? 2099????

With the Christmas Holiday coming up and the gifting badges are still removed from the summoners, will we have the greater gifting crystals this year? Can we get an answer soon? before 2099??

They usually do the gifting badges during the holiday times. It is still mid October, let's not spoil the surprise

I suspect they will bring back gifting in some capacity but it will be limited / restricted / controlled in some way.
