Spending money on this game

I’m done with the big purchases with this game. Just threw away $70 on the awakening gem just to get another tech. I now have 3 in inventory. I should have known better than to purchase it. The free awakening we got a few weeks ago I got tech, the last one I bought was tech so should have known this would end up the same. The odds of that are astronomical I think they have something in their formula that checks your inventory and gives you what you already have. Until they give you a class choice I am done with the $$.

I'm with you brother 100%. Until they smarten up and allow us a choose your class awakening gem, I won't purchase an RNG gem again. Waste of money because whatever class is in your inventory the most is what you'll get. It's not even randomized. It's fact. Make it worse is that you can't get a refund.

Na they are just unbalanced as far as class. Equal numbers of each class. Too bad we don't have equal numbers of champs in each class! Then maybe they wouldn't kabam us all the time. Balance the classes in the crystals to match the champ numbers? PLEASE?

My solution to all of this is a simple one. Don't buy rng crystals. You don't buy mystery items at your local store. Why buy mystery items in-game? Make it worse, it's proven time and again it's going to be the same class you already have. Boycott the rng awakening crystals and you won't have these issues.

It’s honestly not that crazy. It’s no different that rolling 3 of a kind in Yahtzee, or being dealt three of a kind in poker or something along those lines. It happens all the time.

Does no one remember the disclaimer you had to click to keep playing after the EU ruling? Or read any of the patents kabam holds? There isn't a single one for 100% random generation...

They clearly told you they would use your game data to tailor your gaming experience!... if you believe that what you get is 100% random your ignoring facts or just naive. They told all of us quite clearly how this works.

Ps. It is a business! They aren't here to be generous or help. I'm sure when McDonalds gives away all their food for free I'm sure kabam will let you choose what champs and other"prizes" you want.....lol

You did it wrong. You should have used up 1 or 2 of the techs, and Kabam will give you something else.

You just have to know the game, and then play the game accordingly.

Yeah they are generous at all. Definitely didn't have a calendar with 15k 5* shards, 1k 6* shards, 2 full t2A and a free 5* AG just for logging in. Nope, not generous at all.

Also everything else you said is pure conspiracy. The EU ruling had zero to do with what you said and the patent you speak of is not implemented in game.

Of course there is no patent for a 100% random generator on a computer, because IT CANNOT EXIST. It has to be seeded by something less than random, the computer clock...

if they advertised this as random and it was not random then they would be violating countless laws in most countries, but that fact does not matter, all that matters is that your bad luck cannot actually be bad luck, it has to be a conspiracy to get you, despite people every day opening and getting the standard distribution, statisics be darned it is about you, and them trying to get you.

Yeah I don’t believe in that kind of consistent bad luck. The same way that when I used to buy 5* crystals to get champs I would end up with the worst ones in the game every time. I stopped buying crystals for that reason and will do the same here. I Would have to see independently verified third-party statistics proving that their results fall within the standard deviation of being random. I don’t think they advertise that the awakening gems are random by class.

Yep I have had that happen numerous times too. Need one specific cat and build up a dozen plus of others before getting one needed. Others in our alliance the same which is why I don’t believe it is random.

I mean, Ive got no shortage of champs that could use an awakening so I had all my bases covered. What was funny to me is that it came with 20 6 star gems, as if I have any awakened 6 stars lol

For $100 AUD the 5* awakening Gem should be generic.

Paying this amount for random class gems is not worth it.
