The problem with iso-8

I am a lvl 40 player with about 37 4 stars and 3 5 stars some of which I want to upgrade.
I have a million gold, catalysts expiring but just do not have the iso to do it.
I know some will suggest to play story quests but I'm already uncollected and with war and uncollected EQ going on its really difficult to play act 4 all the time..
What I'm saying is, the basic 4 star has such a wide pool now that duping champs has become a nightmare.
I've had this iso problem for about as long as I've played the game..
Thoughts on this?

    Are you talking about Arena milestones which reward PHC shards?
    A very small amount of iso for duping 2 stars..

    How do you think I get 4 star crystals?
    I'm just saying that this is kind of a roadblock in progression that shouldn't exist.

    Your really don’t have to be rude by saying back in my day it was hard times change oh well it’s hard for those people to get iso not everyone is in the endgame of mcoc

    Hey, one thing I can add is this, if there is basic arena for unpopular champ that will have low score and you don't have him go for it. Next time if you get him from crystals that will be dupe

    There's roadblocks at every stage of the game. It will go from no champs to no catalyst to no iso to no gold and can repeat itself. I've had no gold and no iso but lots of champs and cats. Now i have lots of gold lots of iso lots of cats but no champs i want to upgrade or not enough t5s.
    Give it a month and you'll have a different resource you'll need in excess

    Without a roadblock people would be maxing every champ they had.

    The best way for you at your current level is to look for 4* dupes. Arena milestones will help in 2 ways: you will get you PHCs which can potentially give you more chances to dupe your 4*s. You should also get 4* and 5* shards. On top of that, you still get gold. You'll want to stockpile as much as you can, because when you start getting 5*s more consistently send also 6*s, you'll need all the gold you can get. Also monthly event quests for shards at as many difficulties as you can complete will help too.
