Is Colossus immune to Annihilus’ stifle?

Based on Annihilus’ profile, stifle debuff is only able to be applied while armor break is applied. That means champs immune to armor break should be immune to stifle? Do I miss something? The following is Colossus versus 6.3.1 mesmerize Annihilus. Just intended to record an evidence. Don’t bother that low health points. Thanks.

He applies a stifle whenever he would apply an armor break debuff. He needs to try to apply them in order to trigger the stifle, not really needing to apply them.
Colossus is being immune to the armor break, but he isn't avoiding Annihilus from triggering them. Therefore stifle gets applied whenever he would cause one armor break.

Interesting. Never thought about that as this way. So you meant obliterating strike inflicts stifle no matter if armor break applied or not? That is still a bit weird for me based on his profile description.

But it says exactly that in the description ;) When he WOULD inflict, not when he does inflict. Sounds like a little loophole they placed there if you ask me, and why he can apply those stifles even when the armor breaks themselves don't stick.
