This suckkkks tbh im finally getting to the point were i can take a 5 star to r5 every few months but only have 1 6 star worth r2, havok as of now looks like I'm going all in on him
Just wanted to get a pulse on the community. How far are we away from 5/65 champs becoming just another champ in our roster and becoming the bare minimum. I say this because kabam just updated glory store.
at this rate? no lolthe rate of 5tcc is SLOW even when ur at the top, Aq doesnt even have T5cc yet,and u get 1 t5cc if u place in platinum season or better, thats only 900 shardsAlso remember kabam will be relasing overpriced $ for people who want to get T5cc.they arent just gona give u t5cc, around 8 months ago kabam accidentlz release t5cc ina bundle and it gave away to much...and someone actually formed 1 t5cc but kabam changed the crystals back to 900. it was like 11,250 per crystal, then changed to 900 each, and that... was around marchhttps://twitter.com/BrutalDLX_mcoc/status/1105895848632827904and the 6.3 completion offer?that 15,000 units for 25% of a t5cc RANDOM Class.yea t5cc isnt gona be overflowing anytime soon.
The dawn of the R3 6* is upon us, but that will mostly only impact the absolute top allies for some time still. I'd say at least another year before R3 6* are more mainstream and probably 2 before R5s are no longer worth the resources.
Say what o_O Well for the 1% blubbery (if that’s how you write it) whale that may be close to a R3 6* champ, a 5/65 5* champ might not be so special anymore. But for another portion of the playerbase, I would guess 80-90%, getting their 1st 5* to max rank is still miles away for them.

Many of us have zero worthy 6* champions. The drops are terrible. It takes a couple months to even get a 6* for the average players and then you get trash that can’t be used for anything other than arenas. 5/65 are just starting to become feasible for a lot of us. It takes three months to get enough T2 alpha to rank one 5* to R5. If we are close to the end of 5* life there will be a huge number of players leave the game.

I say this because kabam just updated glory store. Well, the short answer is rank 5 becomes the bare minimum when everyone has a ton of rank 2 6* champs: at that point only 5/65s will be competitive with them most of the time (there are 4* specialists that are still situationally competitive with or superior to 5/65s today, so 5/50s aren't yet fully mooted by 5* and 6* champs). But if by "just another champ" you mean they aren't even particularly interesting, that only happens when everyone can supercede them with rank 3s. And that's not going to happen for an extremely long time. Even with the gradual increase in reward earning rates that's something I don't think will be possible even for the highest progression players for at least two years, and for everyone else for at least three. That's because it is unlikely anyone can even make one R3 yet, not even the highest progression players. And I cannot foresee them being able to make more than one or two (maybe if they are really lucky a few more) in a year. But that will accelerate over the following year for two reasons. First, one of the things holding top tier players back is their T5CC is getting spread out across six classes. As they continue to acquire those, by the time they can make one they will also be much closer to getting the next two or three. And of course, as Act 6 reaches its conclusion there will almost certainly be more opportunities to get more T5CC, not just in Act 6 but probably other top tier content as well. So two years is a reasonable estimate for the top tier players to have many rank 3s. Maybe even enough to start benching their best 5/65s.But for everyone else? They will have to wait for even more reward inflation to boost their ability to get those (not to mention good enough 6* champs to rank up). So tack on a year past that point at least.

I love how we assume the game will be around that long. Four more years! Four more years! But until then please keep spending time and money to secure that future!Think of the children. Or at least the F2P just getting started....good “luck” with that.(Which everyone in this game by now knows and can agree — there’s no such thing as “luck”...right? ...it’s all just ”randomly” designed gamification to keep you spending more and more time and/or money...)
I estimate a 6/3 will be about 40% stronger than a 5/65. At that point even a mediocre 6/3 will be a better damage dealer than the likes of 5/65 sparky, Corvus, Hyperion, etc.I’ve been focusing exclusively on talking 6*s to r2. I’d like to have one of each class (currently have 3) so that once I fully form a t5 class cat I can upgrade at will.I only rank 5/65s with variant gems and if they have a utility that will be useful later when they are no longer seen as powerful (think void, quake, vision, etc)And yeah, getting a worthy 6/2 candidate can be a long process. For every good 6* I own, I have five trash ones. That’s just how I see the game going, but I tend to play towards to the future. Clarify mediocre damage dealer because I have plenty of 4* 5:50 who hit harder then some of my 4:55
