So will the new gifting event allow us our gifting badges to send the old stuff again using units or will it be like the event 2 or so years ago where we get some limited items that we can send via a daily log in?

    Past Christmas gifting events used units. The number of things you could gift was limited to a few options but as long as you had units you could continue to gift them. It was the Chinese new year gifting event that required tickets to gift red envelopes but you could still gift with units with that temporary gifting badge.
