Bishop Parry prowess bug?

I was playing arena. & I am comfortable with bishop's mechanism. Was fighting against masacare.
I tried to parry him 6 to 7 times not one single parry. Not a single prowess.
Those were perfect parry. I am uncollected so i have the basic idea about how the game works. if someone can find the same problem. Let me know.
Is it me? I don't think my timing is off.

The prowess buff isn't showing. And parry is not working with bishop.

Masacre reduces your defensive ability accuracy by 50% when striking your block if you have a debuff. Do you have double edge (poison) on?

If the text 'parry' doesn't then a well timed block hasn't been performed. Therefore timing will be off, it happens, i sometimes completely lose parry timing in the odd fight, sometimes AI just performs differently to how you expect it to and you're just not used to it.
I have not seen anything regarding a bug like this so i'd say it is unlikely to be a bug but you never know, is bishops parry working in every scenario
