So Silver Surfer is the prestige Showpiece?

So, I have seen some gameplays posted on Silver Surfer. A champ who heavily relies on his specials spam and is not suicide friendly at all. This guy has no immunities to bleed and poison and it seems old school Hyperion rocks making him a pale shadow of what silver surfer really is. He takes way too long to get those damage numbers up and he is not silver surfer he is a silver spoon.🥄 Even Goldpool is better than he is with suicides and that's saying something. You know game balance seems to taken to a whole new level and Dr.Doom's slaps are more effective than silver surfer's abilities and moves. Well done Kabam at least one thing he is good on is prestige.

In my opinion Silver Surfer should be more powerful than this. Yes being a herald and an alien from another planet he needs to have some immunity to.cold at the very least and maybe poison that's it. He of course bleeds that is fine because he does bleed in comics. His animation and his abilities look cool but it is some what lacking in certain departments. Unless there is a way to play him like how quake and taskmaster is played i am feeling there's a lot missing.so it isn't my conclusion yet it is my initial thoughts on him but some people didn't take it well when I just gave my thoughts. So my opinion can change in the future. If champs like Hyperion, Medusa and Corvus are so powerful why not this guy?

He has sort of immunities. He takes no damage for cold snap, incinerate and shock debuffs. They each count as unique buffs and add energy damage to each of his hits. So he’d be good against champions or nodes that inflict this. Not to mention he’d be healing from Will power. I think he is a decent champion from what I’ve seen so far, he’s only been out a day.

I think the reason everyone is upset is because every champ that should be (according to the marvel universe) OP kabam seems to make them some of the weakest in the game. Sentry, Phoenix,
now Silver Surfer. I know they can't stick to the marvel universe on everything because if they did then certain champs would beat all content easily but come one this is getting a little ridiculous. You have these champs, that should be powerful that aren't and you have champs like Nick Fury, Cap IW, Ghost, and others that are no where near the others power lvl yet they are some of the most powerful in the game. Surfer should at least have immunities. He can withstand flying through space (extremely cold) but he's affected by frostbite? He can fly through stars but he's affected by incinerate? Nothing has ever been shown to ever penetrate his skin but in the game he bleeds? Like I said I understand that kabam couldn't make him as powerful as he is supposed to be of it would be game over but they could have done a better job than this. If they aren't going to follow any semblance of the characters then why even use them? They should just create original characters and remove all the marvel characters from the game. At least then players wouldn't be upset when they take characters that should be powerful and make them a shadow of what they should be.

Amongst other things he got eaten alive and impaled on mjolnirs handle. He's not nearly as op as you think he is.

He is powerful but he is still a physical being with a reliance on a functioning body. A body that can be hurt and damaged.

I think there’s something in between here. You’re right about some of his losses

However the marvel encyclopaedias list him as quite powerful. Reading his stats and actual abilities from the comic encyclopedias he’s like one tier below omnipotent.

His losses generally stem from lack of tactics and a lack of killer instinct. He loses more often than not because he doesn’t know how to fight and doesn’t go for the jugular

It’s ok, I think when his crystals/arena come out more people will find good uses for him.

I’m beyond crushed. So disappointed. And I feel strongly that kabam need to rectify this. I purchased thousands of dollars worth of units in anticipation for my favorite character. The one I’ve waited for since I started playing. Now I’m ready to quit the game. Kabam should either re work him or take my units back and reimburse me. Or make sure I pull him on the first crystal, followed by Captain Marvel mcu, so I have someone to use these cosmic resources on. But truthfully the only way to keep me is to fix the Surfer. It’s not hard. He should be bleed immune and have massive physical resistance. Very hard to hurt. And his damage should go up as debuffs are placed on him or attempted on him (even if he’s immune).. This lines up with his gentle slow to anger personality. Ramp up damage upon being provoked. There.. I solved it Kabam Mike. Hire me.. or at least reimburse me and take your units back. I’m so distraught over this Champion

Its frankly failure to deliver costumer satisfaction and should be viewed as such. I’ve given Kabam thousands upon thousands of dollars over the last couple of years, on good faith that one day they’d deliver this character in game. Failure to deliver is perplexing and takes the wind out of my sails as a summoner.
