Problem Champions that shouldn't be problems

I'm curious - does anyone else have champions that, for reasons completely unknown, they constantly struggle to fight?

Like, there's nothing particularly difficult about them - no evasion, auto-block, or anything like that - but whenever you fight them when they're suitably buffed up they routinely kick your butt.

For me, it's Massacre. Several maps now I've encountered him as an early fight and have restarted the map countless times because he keeps whooping me about.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets in a rut like this?

I’m slow to bait out Hyperion specials. I can’t fight him without eating an sp3.

Cable. Something about his AI and animations. I miss parrys against him more than anyone else and his heavy catches me far more often than it should

Magnetos SP2. I am always trying to evade it and it always hits me like a truck

I'm with you on Masacre. My preferred style is no good against him and if it gets there he always clips me with the first shot if his SP2.

Aegon rekts me with last hit of his sp1

Nebula's 2nd special is a pain for me, I always seem to mis-time the dodge for the blast.

Also Psylocke, I keep forgetting her sp1 has a little bit extra at the end so dash back in and get a boot to the face

My muscle memory screws me on these two, because I always get hit by their SP1

Venom and venompool can catch me out every now and then due to their very erratic attacks and obviously venom's sp2 also makes me poop myself.

Doctor Strange. I’ve been playing for over 4 years and I still can’t time his sp1 & 2 right. Almost always get clipped if I try dexing it

For whatever reason, parrying Doc Ock is difficult for me. I always mistime it.

Dr. Octopus: his animations are hard to parry at times and I end up eating a combo where I'm used to parrying and then attacking.

Magnetos/Dr. Strange: difficulty in evading sp2

Moon night: weird animations

Massacre: long sp1 animation and sp2 hard to dodge

Rhino: random unblockable

Iron Patriot: sill get hit by sp1 even though I evade

Venom: sp2 always clips me

Also Cable. For some reason whenever I try to parry him, I always block too early it seems and I miss the parry.

Sabretooth isn't necessarily hard, but his animations make parrying him feel real inconsistent, so he can be annoying.

I've also died way more than I should've against Civil Warriors in 5.4

The Champion as a war boss. But that will come to an end, as I`ll R4 Voodoo sometime soon and i`ll wipe the floor with him.
Aside from that, in no particular order:

- Doc. Oc. - I can't get used to his attack animations
- Venom - He transforms into The Flash when firing SP2 and hits me more often than I like
- Magnetos - I usually dash back faster than the SP1 animation and I get smacked with the boulder in the face
- Antman - Same issue on SP2 as with Magneto. Bonus, I HATE THE GLANCING!
- Doctor Strange: - Same as Magneto's SP1. Good thing he hits like a noodle.

Special mention:
- Absolutely ALL THE CHAMPS in alliance quests, because of the over-defensive playstyle.

Special mention 2:
- Champs (or nodes) that kill you without landing a single hit on you if you don't have a specific counter (like Magik's Limbo, the EMP shock, or whatever other stuff's there)

King Groot and Ms Marvel. I always seem to take hits against them for some unknown reason.

i have a few, but YJ with an unblockable SP1. i just can't consistently evade that thing.
