Just like with any content that's released, there's going to be paths that are harder than others. In terms of difficulty VS rewards, this is some of the best content to date. Sounds like you just want to be spoon fed some top tier rewards.

The only BS path imo is the bleed vulnerability and biohazard path. There are no 1*s available that can bleed opponents and are bleed immune
