1* Colossus?

I just noticed that the 1* version of Colossus didn't get updated. Is that intentional?

I also checked my 1* Gamora out of curiosity and she does actually work according to her rework.

Please update my 1* Colossus, thanks.

I agree with the general sentiment that your dev team needs to consider how much worse it is for a new player to have to potentially learn 2 versions of the same champ early on (since 2*s also come to new players quickly) than it is to potentially learn some more advanced champ abilities. Getting a new player to understand Colossus post-buff is much better than them learning old Colossus as their first champ, then a fee days into it drawing 2* Colossus and having them wonder why it behaves so differently.

Got some info from the team about this and we will be keeping the older, simpler kit for the 1-Star version of Colossus so that we don't overwhelm brand new players. We feel the previous version of his abilities will allow the newest players to focus more on picking up the basics as they start their journey through the Contest.

What exactly would overwhelm new players? There is a 1* Scarlet Witch, with her kit, so, there really is no difference to the new player.

It really seems like the actual reason is, that Kabam don't want people to use 1* Colossus, with the new kit, to clear things, it would be too easy.

Just to weigh in here, I also think it's a bad decision to change how he functions as a 1* versus all other champs. It sets anweird precedent that might further confuse a new player once they move from a 1* to 2*, see the difference and think they might have to learn entirely new kits for every champion in the game at each star level. It likely would do more to "overwhelm" new players than if he just worked the same at all star levels.

I hope the team reevaluates this decision

They didn't update him because of V4.

You might as well just say you didn't want the 1 star section of V4 to be too easy with the updated Colossus because that is what this is about. Hence why you put all the Biohardard and caustic temper nodes so we couldn't run through everything in less than 20 hits with the updated Gamora.
