Evade effects still working when they shouldn’t be

A couple of times today while playing arena I’ve had champs evade when they shouldn’t have been able to. First time was against a wasp in arena while using iceman with Coldsnap active, and the second was also in arena while using proxima midnight with a true accuracy buff against an OG Spider-Man.

Any others noticed anything unusual when it comes to evade?

Hey there, I can explain what is happening in the case of Wasp. When attacked, she has a chance to remove Coldsnap and then Evade the attack. Because of the order these two things happen in, she the Coldsnap would be removed before she attempts to Evade, which is why she is able to Evade.

As for the case with Proxima Midnight and Spider-Man, have you seen this happen any other times? Also, do you happen to remember what level your health was at the time or would you happen to have any video of this happening?

True Accuracy doesn't prevent evade. True Strike prevents evade. Proxima does not have True Strike. Corvus Glaive can gain True Strike through synergy with PM and only if hes knocked down a champ who's evaded but not knocking the defender out.

I believe you might be confusing the two champs.

There's True Damage (Ignores Armor and Resistances), True Accuracy (Ignores Evade and Auto Block Effects), and True Strike (a combination of the two).

Lol it's ok, only a few champions have True Accuracy. Most have True Strike or just True Damage on their Specials/Certain Hits.

Lol it's ok, only a few champions have True Accuracy. Most have True Strike or just True Damage on their Specials/Certain Hits.

Nightthrasher's Mediums and Proxima are the only ones that I could think of off the top of my head

This was the only time it happened with proxima so far. And thanks for the clarification on wasp!

Ok so, i had corvus with proxima in party. Gained truestrike before Mr. Fantastic. So i didnt need to worry about him stopping truestrike. He fully evaded all hits in corvus sp2... every time he simply dashed back. Evade Failed on the screen in grey like always. Yet he still backed up and evaded....

Even champs who dont have Evade ability do the same thing now.... shouldn't matter what content we are doing... if the individual champ doesnt have Evade Ability... they shouldn't be Evading attacks.

Mr Fantastic does have Evade though... I think it's based off how many Debuffs are on You and Him, or something like that.

Mr Fantastic does have Evade though... I think it's based off how many Debuffs are on You and Him, or something like that.

Still the fact that he Evaded while True Strike was up seems like a Bug, unless he has a Counter for True Strike in his Abilities like SpiderGwen.

And I believe you don’t know what true accuracy is, the difference is bypassing resistance not the evade autoblock side
