How to beat Korg (XL Variant)

I use 5-star Venom at 4/55 to do as much damage as possible, but with the Spike and Buffet nodes Korg just regenerates any health I'm able to knock off, instantly. I have to go through this ridiculous node twice in order to complete the quest fully (no deliberate intentions from Kabam there I'm sure), and I can't even knock 10% health off this guy. Any tips? Much appreciated.

I used a sig 200 Namor who made it a very straightforward fight, but OR should also work well if you stick with heavies and specials, dexing as little as possible. If you do end up dexing and triggering the precision buff, you can always use spite to your advantage to push him to his SP2. One way to make the best of a mistake, handy if you can’t dodge his SP1 consistently.
