CAIW sp2 doesn't crit?

I have precision 5/5 but when i hit CAIW's sp2 with 5 kinectic charges and fury it doesn't crit. Is it very rare? All the youtubers get it frequently. Am i missing something?

Getting a crit is pure RNG and you get more non-crits than crits cause it's a 23ish % base crit chance. Precision helps but it's not guaranteed.

Charges only increase attack not crit %. Just bad luck.

Yep like the guys have said, CAPIW's crit chance is not guaranteed - you can improve this with a "crit team" around him though adding upwards of 30% chance making it almost always a crit.
If you run some fights and just parry/heavy all the time, you should get a feel for how often you can expect to see a crit based on your camps star rating/level/sig etc
