Unfair AW Rewards

Many times we lost in AW due to the enemy team didn't fill up their defence phase e.g. only 17 or 19 players. So we can fully capture 100% of their bases due to this. However, during attack phase enemy gather their full squad of 20 and cap 100% on us whereas we can max to 95%. KABAM did not torture those allies that cant participate in full swing or being inactive but torture those Alliances that are fully active in AW. This is absurd. KABAM should penalized them for their shortage in defence and disallow others to join in attack phase. We demand a better outlook in the warring system and oversee such matters.

Hey there, just wanted to jump in and clear some things up. If an Alliance does not place all of the possible defenders they could have, this does not prevent their opponents from getting any points. For any node where they could have placed a Champion but didn't, an attacker can move across that node and gain full points, as if they had defeated a defender without losing any fights. Hope that helps clear things up!

You're losing to a team that doesn't place a full defense? So your diversity sucks and you die more against less defenders, which means your alliance just isn't very good and don't understand AW scoring.

This is definitely not true. If you cover the entire map you get 100% whether or not they place defenders.

You get full attack bonus for any defenders not placed, know what you’re talking about before blasting the system.

Just a tiny correction: as Kabam Miike stated, you get full attack bonus for any node you enter, whether you defeat the defender placed there or just walk into the node because there's nothing placed there.

In the past some players complained they did not get full attack bonus for "empty paths" without realizing that even though they are empty, they still have to traverse them with an attacker to actually get the points. Not just the exploration points but the attack bonus points as well.

You have to still cover the node to get full bonus even if it’s empty. Don’t skip a path because they didn’t place.

that's an interesting idea. i know half the guys in my alli get irked when some don't place defenders but still get rewards by joining after the map has cleared.

If one of our players couldn't place defense because their phone broke or something, I'd still want them to be able to attack. If you've got guys not joining war until the map is cleared as a strategy you should kick them. Kabam doesn't need to make a rule for this.

Seems like a whole lot of relatively new people to game and forums doing a whole lot of complaining about higher level stuff without yet knowing how scoring system works, etc.

They can jump up to level 40-50 fairly quickly, without the growing pains of finding out how the game actually works, and end up becoming higher alliances (relative to their experience).

Not just this thread, but seems like it’s a whole lot of this going on in Forums the past few months.

And not just asking a question about how scoring works, etc (which would be understandable). But demanding action by Kabam for some wrongly-assumed presumption of what is going on.
