Is extra acorn gonna be converted to gold when the event ends?

since we have the ability to farm 2m acorn and we only need 1m?

    Any hint as to what those small things may be? I don’t intend to hoard acorns, but I’m more curious whether or not it’ll be worth the time to continue doing the Acornucopia quest for extra acorns past the 1 million for the solo event.
