I guess Kabam game team want to make the map look like teeth of squirrel.
Anyway they design the map such that you need to spent certain amt of energy.

Does anyone else prefer a simple straight line of champs for each quest? Make it 5-8 energy whatever the equivalent is to these current maps. Enough with the portals and empty nodes like stated above

Has anyone made an info graph on total energy for this quest? I know they typically all fall around the same but it does feel on the high side to me, which is fine, the side quest cost nothing

The Energy costs of each quest are roughly the same month to month. There can obviously be some variance is how those quests are arranged, but it is normally pretty close, even if the fights are spaced out bit differently.

Its already been stated multiple times that ALL quests are meant to cost around the same energy. It is done this way by design. So unless you WANT them to make it harder by placing more champs, I suggest you shut the front door.
