Luck in the game

Not a moan, just an observation really

Hell of a lot of luck needed to advance in this game as we all know. Unless you get certain characters there are large chunks of the game that you cant do without spending a fortune, and even then its still pretty damn difficult!

Im in the game 1 year today, 200K ranking. I have 5 x 5 stars, HB, Loki, Groot and UC. Only OK one is WS. Now if by luck I had pulled Voodoo, Hyper, Magik and SL (UC was earned) the game becomes a lot easier for me and lots of achievements open up as well. Just doesnt seem right that luck plays such a massive part of the game

One of my fellow officers in my ally is the best boss killer you will ever see! Me dead in 1 hit, him just takes them down time and again, its unreal. He has been in the game 18 months or so and has yet to pull any Good skill champ at all! He dreams of the day, but nothing. Again, just doesnt seem right?

Cant really see a way round this, just looking for suggestions?

not so much for luck as it is time spent in the game. I have been playing for 2 1/2 years, rating is almost 400K

I am extremely active and run with a great alliance, make smart decisions and play at your own pace and level it takes time but you'll get there

There is many ways to beat the game.. I dont question that with some champs it makes just thing easier due the champs ability / dmg. thats say..
im a 350k rating and with out Voodo, Hyp, magik, SL or a Archangel still manage to beat ROL, act 5, and beated any event that have been added like Ming, Spidey and so on and im a bosskiller in my ally.

i dunno what map u run but there is many champs thats still able to beat boss finish Quest / events
Since the droprate is base on RNG (kabam claim) i think differently but thats another story.

U will need to learn to master ur roaster. Youtube and some search on net helped me alot.
And ofc knowledge of the champions u fight and use is the key..

That's why they added arena's.

Since skill and grinding can make up for all the possible bad luck you could have in this game I don't think it plays too large a part. Rol can be done with literally any 4 star at 4/40 if you are good enough same with act 5.1/5.2 with any four star at 5/50, you can grind any champion you need out of arena like star lord or gwenpool as 4 stars to get you through Labyrinth of Legends. Yes luck can speed up your progression but it is in no way a necessary component in getting far in the game

Although I have learned to compensate for my roster for awhile with some skills, I admit that after seeing what Star Lord does after a few combo hits I was jealous. Takes me 2-3 times as many hits which means that much more evade and baiting and buff triggering etc etc. Sheesh.

I won't complain too much though cause recently I ran into "luck" run of freakin every mystic champ it seems plus iceman and Doc oc! sooooo......A little luck doesn't hurt. You're right.
