When the AI gets faster, why does the game get so bugged?

Why does the game get so bugged when the AI goes 2-3x faster in higher level arenas and in AW?

They go so fast, the game gets bugged...

1) I was in mid-combo and my combo missed
2) Specials button doesn't seem to work all the time
3) AI goes so fast they skip frames
4) It's not humanly possible to react to some of their moves because it's so fast
5) It's difficult to do a combo where you end with a special. It's fine anywhere else.

Yes, I opened a ticket before...I have an iphone 7 with 256gb memory so it isn't an issue with my device...stop using excuses for bad developers who don't know how to develop

noticing this today doing map 6. AI able to consistently block sp1 of ultron and voodoo so had to adjust to MLLL + special. then on the magneto node just before the global node, game suddenly lagged just before a heavy was being readied by the AI. it's bad enough that almost half of the last stage is degen or starburst that you need to almost play perfectly, but when the game lags and robs you of health, that's something else

This is the most frustrating thing in the game - and it really makes you consider quitting when you're grinding in arena. I'll be on infinite streak in the arena, and suddenly the AI will attack at 2-3 times speed, I won't be able to block every strike let alone parry, and it's the fighting mechanics aren't even a match, it's just like someone clicked "survival mode". I've had Hyperion get crushed by Hulkbuster (and a lower level HB at that!) because I honestly could not block or strike for the first 20 seconds.

Yea, the frame rate sometimes shoots up to 60fps (which is what you call fast AI. Actually, all animations become faster). The control don't respond at that condition (typically, swipes don't register consistently)

No comment from Kabam on these things affecting the game. I reported something similar 6 months ago, but nothing ever gets done. We just get new heros so you can make money every other week.

It's been like this since 2014. It's a one-way glitch. Some might say intentionally programmed to conveniently lag or become unresponsive.

Yes!

The game suddenly runs smoother at 60FPS (from around 30 or so), which is great, but the controls don't register 1/3rd of the time. It's like your champ is rooted to the ground when you try to evade back. You become a sitting duck.

Consistently happens 3-4 times a week, and starts happening exactly when the game runs smoother.

The smoothness and the lack of controls go away after 5 minutes.

And Ultron seems to be the most effected for me map 6. He just sits there. 100% convinced it's intentional.
