Gulk Face Me 6.1 Loki Chapter Bugged?

It not triggering and it a passive Degeneration I just notice it when I was fighting loki dont know if it intentional or not but I want confirmation if it is

    For some reason some degens don’t trigger things for passive or active ability counters, basically they added it to counter gulk

    It's not considered a passive DoT effect

    It is a passive dot, as indicated by the border. Therefore, GHulk should have Face Me active, as the ability description states it will activate for any cowardly passive damage over time effect.

    yah but kabam its there game there rules, they do what they want and will say this isnt a passive dot

    It's a little non-sensical, but that's how it is. For example, look at Starburst vs. Degeneration nodes, both of which are on the same path is AQ map 6. Both are passive. Both inflict damage over time. However, Face Me only triggers on Starburst and does nothing against Degeneration. Go figure.
