Rank Up: Symbiote Supreme or Warlock???

After getting more familiar with MCOC after my years long hiatus, I’ve come to conclusion that I’ve pulled some pretty elite champs from crystals. You guys already schooled me on how Warlock is a mandatory rank up but who would you choose to rank up first out of Symbiote Supreme and Warlock? They both are 4 ⭐️ champs and at Rank 3 ready for Rank 4.

OR

Should I just forget about ranking them and just focus on my 3 5 ⭐️ champs? I was told 4 stars are useless as you progress through the story. True or False? My 5 stars are Ronin, Captain Marvel (Movie) and AEgon all rank 2.

Myvote is for Warlock, I also love Sym Supreme but Warlock is good in so many scenarios while Sym Supreme is more limited. Either way do one then the other.

I’ve been running them both on the same team lately. Warlock gets used more, so I would start there. Eventually, I don’t see why I wouldn’t do both of them. They are very useful for Act 6 nodes and bosses (Crossbones, Sinister, The Champion).

Four star Warlock will take you far; although not in Act Six, I'm afraid.

Still, if you take him to 5/50, I suspect you'll be using him in Monthly Event Quests and probably Alliance Quests/Wars for a very long time; so I'd vote Warlock.

And as well as him, Ronin is an amazing champ; very underrated. CMM is obviously worth building up, but Aegon less so, until he gets Awakened. At which point he becomes one of the most powerful and valuable champions in the game. So too wouldn't go wrong with him; but Ronin will do more in the short term.

For me, There are three categories of champs at the top of most general tier lists of the best champs in the game. Starting with the Overall category (examples: Ghost, Domino, Omega Red, CMM, Corvus, etc.). Then there's the Niche category (examples: Nick Fury, Aegon, AA, Guilly 2099, etc.). Then finally, Prestige ( examples: Namor, Stealthy, Doom, Silver Surfer, etc.). I put a champ like Warlock in the Overall category and Sym Supreme in the Niche category. I say that to say, That if there's a particular need for Sym currently for your account, rank him up. Otherwise, Warlock is your best bet to tackle a vast amount of content during your progression. Think about that and good luck.

Gotta go with my man warlock, crazy fun and versatile lol he jus brings a lot of fun back in the game for me. SS is great I was blessed with a 6* I’m still tryna figure out his flow.

u should obviously give priority to 5*s. but i would advice u to rankup some 4* (hype/cmm, blade/gwenpool, sym supreme, warlock, colossus/iceman/omega, capiw, void, medus etc) so that u can utilise them in various quest (nodes) , then u can get more upgrade materials & shards for champs... remember that 4*CHAMPS HELP GETTING 5* & 5*S HELP GETTING 6*.

btw you should upgrade sym supreme & warlock both even if they r in 4*...
