AW Diversity: Per Battlegroup or Per Alliance

Hello everyone, I've tried searching this and can't find anything solid on this that wasn't from 2017. Does diversity stick to per BG (for example, every battlegroup could have a Korg and they wouldn't lose diversity points) or does this go across the entire alliance's defenders? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Too many to search. The question was brought up when it was first introduced. It's definitely per BG, though.

Per BG. You can clearly see that by looking at Points/Stats screens for each BG and then Overall. And compare to who your Defensive players are.

Per bg, otherwise u would have to use 150 different champs every war.

Funny story on this topic. When war diversity first came out, it was per alliance. Back then to reach 150 diversity you needed special champs like thanos, kang, and immortal IF. Man that was a major pain organizing.

Then one day diversity was bugged and it was only counting per bg. Then kabam decided to just leave it that way lol.

This fun story glosses over a lot of horror story that was alliance war updates pre-16.1.
