Rental champions during storylines

Could we get temporary copies of champions during storylines when it suites?

That way we can test out heroes or villains to try then decide to get or not? After the story finishes they can be taken back and we lose anything we spend on them -- think most ppl will like this.

Like a blue name plate or something to signify it's a temporary copy?

Why would Kabam do that? Who benefits? Its not them for sure. This is a revenue stream for them, they need to make money to keep going and growing. So why should they lose income to benefit you?
