No AQ rank rewards when joining ally mid-aq?

Hello,
does someone know whether I need to participate in a certain number of AQs of a cycle to be eligible for rank rewards? I joined my current ally recently and was participating in 2 AQ days (I was too late to join on my first day, e.g. AQ day 3).
Now I got milestone rewards as well as honor rewards, but no rank rewards?
