Auto rotate ?

Just curious about auto rotate within the game.
I'm not really fond of auto rotate myself, so I have it disabled on my phone (Samsung A50) .. however, when playing MCoC .. I still find the game constantly auto rotates during play ... and it's sometimes silly sensitive with it (ie set the phone down on table for a second .. bam, rotated .. O.o)
Why is the game not obeying the phone settings?
and would it be possible to have a setting in game to disable/enable this ?
