That's right up there with new players (back in the day) getting a different 4 hour crystal than the ones who came before. It was a champ shard crystal. Meaning you could get PHC, 3*, and 4* shards from the 4 hour free crystal. Of course I think people mostly got the PHC but still, they got shards every 4 hours.
