The exception being, if there is a huge campaign by YouTubers to not buff a mutant.

The only ones that would give him a run for his money, would be any of the other, huge marvel brand names of the original set; iron man, hulk, cyclops, wolverine, storm, black panther, ant man, Captain America, Spiderman....(maybe add strange and a couple of others).

All the OG characters that the first adopters to this game recall, but more importantly, were Mainstays of the marvel brand for many years in comics, video games and 80s tv shows.

We all know they should be awesome. The only one that is now epic from that period of nostalgia is collosus. And the only one that just about holds his own in the next tier down is Thor. But Thor should be THOR!! And there's an argument for a buff there too.

But... magneto should be the most powerful mutant, near enough, as he is in the comics. As I and others have mentioned before, he's so powerful writers often had to think up plot devices to keep him out of the story! Certainly worthy of his spot as frequently the greatest comic book villain of all time, behind the joker.

Mags with a side of Iron Fist. I’m not going to rant again about Mags—already plenty of posts I’ve made about him.

Don’t even have to redo IF—just enhance his synergies with Cage so he’s an updated glass cannon. Getting all of the members of a prominent Marvel team should count for something in game.

Sure, he wears pajamas and slippers into a fight, but if he hits you it should quite literally be devastating. Makes no sense to see “The Living Weapon” get outpunched by nearly every champ in game.

He should be able to oppress (stun-lock

) any metal champ.
Plenty of good force fields to take inspiration from (Invisible Woman, Dr Doom, Red Skull).
And/or a metal version of Terrax’s rock field.
Power gain buff based on proximity to metal.
Helmet to counter telepaths.

For me this game will be incomplete without decent versions of Magneto, Apocalypse and Onslaught).

I know he's miles better than the list of champs here, but I really want a Hulk rework. He's not even close to being properly represented in this game. There are also a bunch of little tweaks to already good champs that I would like to see (such as being able to choose which buffs VtD activates. The RNG aspect makes me dislike an otherwise great character).

From that list, I would go with either Miles or Thor Jane Foster.

This is sad—I agree. When I look at the original Cap, Doc, IM, Hulk, Spidey at the tail end of my 5* roster...hard to feel anything but glum.

Joe Fix It is pure GARBAGE!! Also, Magneto is an OMEGA level mutant, this game does him no jistice. He needs to be reworked badly!!! Finally, I would like to see Groot get a much need revamp.

I also agree. This whole green event I used my 5* hulk and I just shook my head in disgust with every fight. Yeah they reworked him a little in the past but he is still so disappointing and not up to any expectations. Makes me sad really when he is one of my favorite characters. Unfortunately I know it’s a pipe dream and it rather pathetic how long it takes just to rework any champ. But I will give credit though. They did good with venom and carnage. So all I have to say is give justice to magneto.

I would love Kabam to do a Gamora-type buff on firstly the entire OG Avengers team, and then the rest of the Guardians. So that I'd actually want to take a team of Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow etc into Act 6. Or a Guardians team into the Labyrinth or AQ or something. Just please do something *ANYTHING* to make me want to use my favourite Marvel characters, and not the God-tier nobodies I'm currently using.
