But for me, the one character I truly believed (in a comic book setting) that would truly hate Peter Parker/Spider-Man is Norman Osborn
Not hard to agree he’s unmasked him and even taken his body to become the Superior Spider-Man
But their are very good points defending GG as well
Morlun is a lesser-known Spiderman enemy but is arguably the most difficult for him to defeat. He has superhuman strength and speed, withstanding even the most powerful attacks Spiderman unleashes without turning a hair. Spiderman admits that a punch thrown by Morlun was the hardest he had ever felt.
Morlun also has incredible endurance - he fights Spiderman for hours without tiring. He also possesses a high level of intelligence, as he gauges that Spiderman will feel bound to come to him if he puts innocent lives at risk. Morlun first appears in 2001's 'Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30.
Although Green Goblin and Carnage were certainly difficult to beat, Spiderman is always holding back to prevent them from being actually killed. He doesn't do that here but is only able to defeat Morlun using not his own strength but highly dangerous radiation.
After Eddie reconciled his feelings towards Peter, they became frenemies. Peter dislikes Venom's approach to justice, but they compromise for the greater good. A villain would never do that.
Venom has never been a villain. He just didn't like Peter.
