    Goblin is in main villain in 5 movies. And in series like ultimate spiderman and spectacular Spiderman he is the season finale villain.

    Spider-Man has been around for so long, and honestly, many of his awesome Rogues Gallery has been a focal point, depending on the creative team

    But for me, the one character I truly believed (in a comic book setting) that would truly hate Peter Parker/Spider-Man is Norman Osborn

    in the MCU, it's gotta be mysterio. He is the most advanced villan spidey has ever faced, and he has a team of very smart people working for him. He also exposed spiderman's name and also edited video clips to make spidey look like a villan, which could be a huge problem later on

    As far as sheer power goes, definitely Morlun - a vampiric being from another dimension.

    Morlun is a lesser-known Spiderman enemy but is arguably the most difficult for him to defeat. He has superhuman strength and speed, withstanding even the most powerful attacks Spiderman unleashes without turning a hair. Spiderman admits that a punch thrown by Morlun was the hardest he had ever felt.

    Morlun also has incredible endurance - he fights Spiderman for hours without tiring. He also possesses a high level of intelligence, as he gauges that Spiderman will feel bound to come to him if he puts innocent lives at risk. Morlun first appears in 2001's 'Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30.

    Although Green Goblin and Carnage were certainly difficult to beat, Spiderman is always holding back to prevent them from being actually killed. He doesn't do that here but is only able to defeat Morlun using not his own strength but highly dangerous radiation.

    To be fair, Venom/Eddie was never really a villain. He had a sense of justice and morality from the start. Eddie's jealousy and disdain towards Peter manifested itself when he was Venom.

    After Eddie reconciled his feelings towards Peter, they became frenemies. Peter dislikes Venom's approach to justice, but they compromise for the greater good. A villain would never do that.

    Venom has never been a villain. He just didn't like Peter.

    From the sound of this, you're talking about how well the character can fight and, well, the only way Spiderman beat Morlun was by dosing him with severe amounts of radiation. Venom wouldn't help here... Morlun's race wields power nearly equalling that of gods. You could have Captain America and the rest of the Avengers there and the only one that might do damage is Tony Stark if he used some biochemical weapon.
