Bane is not hard you just have to work on your timing and be patient. Plan your combo for when it’s about to expire. If you have trouble with timing use a champ that has an unblockable special so as soon as the timer expires fire it off

Bane already has a timer. Once the bane degen expires on the opponent it will transfer to you.

As long as the Ai isn’t passive it’s easy enough to work around just be patient.

You want to push them to 1 bar of power during the combo in which you transfer bane, then you have time to bait special.

Get another combo in but leave them under 1 bar, wait for the timer to nearly expire and launch another combo, transfer bane and repeat.

It’s not that hard just requires restraint and timing.

i love the bane node it helps me so much. You just have to be smart about it. I usually do a 4 hit combo intercept 4 hit combo intercept 5 hit combo and fire the sp1. This works all them time

the only thing that is stupid is the transferring to you after it expires. the point of the node is to hit first ... why get punished when you don't get hit?? anyway, i have zero problem with that node .. it helps more than it hurts imo

Recently I just beat masochism and bane is about 1000 times easier then masochism banes just all about getting the timing right to transfer the bane

What finally helped me was forget about all the fancy fighting stuff and only think about bane. Just use basic combos and fire specials at the right times

What I do when fighting against BANE node — when I see the timer close to expiring, I only do a ³ qhit combo (medium, light, light) and dash back.

When I do this, the opponent will immediately dash in — I'll hit the parry/stun, and then go in with a ⁵ hit combo + special chain attack.
