New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

I would love to see Sandman, Quicksilver and Valkyrie added to the game.

With Sandman in particular, I could see the team doing some really cool animations for the character with a similar build to someone like Surfer or Torch or changing forms with enhanced buffs like Emma Frost.

Valkyrie will probably be an addition whenever Thor Love and Thunder comes out.

The Destroyer

Class: Magic (or cosmic)

#Offensive:Damage #XL #Asgardian #metal

Signature Ability

Celestial Slayer; Increase damage by 20% for each armor break debuff on the enemy up to 500%. Armor break last 5 seconds longer.
Passive

resistances:
the Destroyer is living armor made of nigh indestructible material. The Destroyer is immune to poison, incinerate, coldsnap, shock and bleed. (Also immune to telepathy)

Rational: Being non-organic would make it immune to bleed and poison and the metal it’s made of can (I believe) resist the temper extremes of incinerate and coldsnap and Thor’s lightning never seems to shock it so shock resistance.

Medium Attacks
25% to inflict armor break

Heavy attack

100% to inflict armor break. (Could be punch or eye laser for animation)

Special Attacks

Special 1:

The Destroyer blast the opponent with powerful destructive energy (from eyes).
1 attack/hit. Inflicts incinerate dealing 150% base attack as energy damage over 10 seconds

Special 2: Devastation

The Destroyer does what its programmed to do and destroys it opponent with a series of devastating blows meant to shatter their defense and finishing by hurling them into the ground.
- Converts all of the opponents armor buffs into armor break debuffs of equal (but opposite) strength. The first blow also inflicts a armor break debuff reducing armor rating by 1500. On finial hit (or slam in this case) 0% chance to stun for 10 seconds, +10% chance for each armor break debuff on enemy.

Special 3: Absolute Destruction

The Destroyer unleashes it full power in a vicious onslaught of powerful attacks.
Inflicts permanent armor break (-1000 armor) incinerate on beam attack, and stun on the final attack. (6 attacks)
Does 1000 extra base damage for each armor break on opponent and makes them all permanent.

Animation: The Destroyer punches the opponent into the wall rushing forward and hitting them repeatedly before they fall. Then the Destroyer grabs them throwing them high into the air before unleashing a powerful energy beam attack. Wrapping up the onslaught, the destroyer grabs the opponent as they fall from the air, and throws them back into the same wall.

Scarlet Witch MCU:
Abilities:
1)Scarlet witch has access to 3 curses.Witch can switch between curses with her heavy attacks.During heavy attacks witch telekinesis grants her 100% to autoblock triggering parry.
i)Curse Of Thunder:Witch can control atoms granting her an ability to even control thunder which gives her immunity to thunder and armor shattered.Witch attacks can even shatter the toughest armor reducing armor rating by 1500 for 18 seconds.Witch 2nd ,3rd and 4th light attack places shock debuffs on her opponent reducing ability accuracy by 10% for each shock applied don the opponent.Can stack armor shatters upto 5 with sp1.
ii)Curse of Agamotto: Agamotto decided to make witch the next sorceress supreme after doctor strange allows her to know the power of true mystic arts.With this kind of power witch has access to the all mystic arts knowledge allowing her to nullify her opponents buff with her critical hits with 60% chance.With each nullify buff on the opponent witch keeps a count on her buff nullfy meter(just like combo meter)increasing her attack rating by 10% for each nullify buff count on her combo.But when witch is knocked down she loses her conscious resetting buff count meter to zero.Changing curse will not effect the buff count but in other curses witch will not be able to increase buff count on her buff combo meter,she can only do that in curse of Agamotto.
iii)Curse of cyttorack:In this phase witch will take -60% damage from bleed cause of her enhance regeneration ability.Witch now can regenerate (%) health and steals 5% power from her opponent with every medium she does.Cyttorack allowed witch to apply slow debuff on the opponentsbfor 8 sec by every last light hit attack rather than science class.
SP1:
Can stack armor shattered on her opponent upto 5 limitation.It has 100% chance to crit.Beaides this curse sp1 has no other effect.
SP2:
Witch sp2 does not have any effect.Besides that for the duration of her sp2 she gains reality wrap passive buff ignoring all Resistances and nodes effecting the damage.And die snot make contact.Sp2 has 100% chance to crit.
SP3:
When witch is on Agamotto curse and she activates sp3 witch asks chton help to go to House Of M mode giving her wrath of chaos passive buff increasing attack rating by twice (%) she has from those buff combo meter.

2)Witch is naturally immune to all the mind controls of the battle realm.

3) Awakening Ability:
Witch has no control over her powers as her health falls down when she gets to below 20% health and activates force field dealing 70% energy damage dealt to opponent on contact.

Cyclops (Blue Team) - Buff

A little bit Ægon, a little bit CAIW, throw in some spice, blend till happy and you can finally have your obsessively training x-men leader be the beyond god tier man you want him to be.
