Pairing highly desirable basic champs with horrible featured is what is killing arena. But this is done to control the numbers of good champs in the game.
In a perfect world, the arena champs would be similarly desirable and force players to decide which they want. For the newer players, do I go for a 3* Kingpin or a 4* AA. For the bigger players, AA or Kingpin?
As it sits now, the players are channeled into one arena or the other and never have to really decide. The only decision is whether they join the madness for a difficult champ or just sit it out.

Kabam has already stated that 4* champions WILL STILL remain RELEVANT with 5* AND 6* champions.

4* still beat 5* and 6*.
6* still have difficulty fighting 4*.
It called... BALANCING.

6* will have an extra 500-700 attack on 4*...
I think cutoff is confirmed at 6.2m for round 1. First one is 6.18m 2nd one is 6.2m
