Help me Understaning chronometer and Rift.

I had little confusion about that.
Like I don't need any specific awakening gem but I need 5* and 6* shard.
So shall it is compulsory for me to buy chronometer to get shards.
Sorry for bad English J am still learning it. Answer it ASAP.

No you dont NEED the chronometer but if you want guaranteed shares you can get it HOWEVER you can still earn them via the random rifts

I'm not sure of the exact numbers (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but you can go for 19randomized tries or 13 randomized tries and 1 guaranteed run for the rewardsyou want.

Like say you can either have 19 crystals with droprates or 13 crystals and then 1 win which you can chose which reward you want

18 in total, close.
