Dormammu is fantastic as a Defender - although his primary role is Denial as a Dimensional Being. Poison and Bleed Double Immunity offers lots of protection versus any Damage-Over-Time Abilities. If Awakened, Dormammu gains Degeneration Ability whenever the opponent has a Buff expire - slowly leeching away the Target's Health.

Nullify as his SP1 works amazing to rid some of the tougher opponents like Colossus and Juggernaut whom only have Fury or Stagger to rely upon. If you can reach 100 Dark Charges via Power Drain, Dormammu can Nullify All Buffs too.

Furthermore the opponent can be Power Drained by finishing any Combo with a Medium Attack plus Soul Bond Charges from Heavy Attacks will trigger Direct Damage based on quantity of Soul Bonds collected (up to one hundred) which scales with Dark Energy Charges. For every Buff that becomes Nullified; Dormammu gains 50 Dark Energy and Soul Bond Charges each.

SP2 can cause Power Drain and/or Power Lock if Imbued to prevent opponents from getting any chance to activate their Special Attacks.

Surprisingly Dormammu's SP3 grants a Multi-Dimensional Link to gain Dark Energy Charges for 20 seconds of duration. Expending the Dark Energy Charges via Heavy Attack will cause Direct Damage and also Regenerate 25% of the outgoing Damage back to Dormammu as Health.

Who else could be as OP as Dormammu within Alliance Wars as Mystic Champion? Lets not forget Dormammu can become strengthened from Synergy Bonuses. The only complaint could be lack of Armor Rating plus Negative Physical Resistance despite higher Energy Resistances.

Maybe for newer players. To anyone that has done a season of dormammu in aq he is cake. Same with all other aq bosses, and mini's. People get so used to playing against them that their value deminishes.
