Kabam's greed effectively kills this game.
They don't want to release new really good champions because it would make it too easy for players to go through content and Kabam won't earn that much money for revives and potions.
They don't want to release crystals with lots of good champions because it would be too easy to get them and Kabam won't earn that much on crystals, revives and potions.
They don't want to give really good rewards for the content (e.g. Act 6), because players would be able to clear the content with better champions at a higher rank too easily and Kabam won't earn again.
And so on and so on and so forth.
Give us more and more money, and in return we will give you less and less fun and value!
This has been Kabam's motto for a long time now.
Either they change their current direction or this game will definitely die.
I'm a casual player since 2015 not even Cavalier yet, actually just made it to Act 6, free to play for life. I remember in the beginning when my ally member pulled a 4* IP we were stoked at the time, it was one of his first pulls from a PHC, it was hard to get a 4* let alone its was insane to get a 5* as a f2p. It took me almost 2yrs to get my first 5*. Now kabam handing out 5* like 4* stimulus check. I started a second account like a year or so ago and have 35 5* on that second account. my 2 cents
Kabam will watch/ read comments and make adjustments!! What adjustment you ask well ....
instead of adjusting the contain making fun and enjoyable to play they will make getting 6* easier to obtain to appease the community and bring in 7* which again will be groot and friends!
It must suck to be a whale put all that money into a game and then get to the end...i'm bored!!
I have a feeling that he's just going to be mini-COWhale and just pop crystals LOL
I've completed act 6 and 100% 3/4 variant (can't to v4 without 1* hulk) and my roster is still no where near large enough to cover niche fights required to explore act 6
Kabam are still going down the same rabbits hole and making act 7 even more specific and inflating attack values so block damage is insane. They're going to alienate majority of the player base at this point.
AW rewards are nowhere near worth it for effort and stress required. Last season was especially garbage with flow
Unless you're a whale fighting for the top spot in Aq the disperity in rank rewards isn't even worth running higher maps.
For endgame players game isn't exactly in a good place
Like explained act6 so much annoyed nodes and difficult and require so many champs.
The champions 6.2.2 should be revisite and we should be able to return fight and not restart all this indestructible charges. I mean if i did 1 fight and delete 1 charge and ko just After, should still only 4 charges. The champion is the WORST thing they did.. nodes are already difficult,no need to add this difficulties..
Ps: for 100% need to fight him already many time. Required soooooo much items.

Also in The later game the rng feedback loop is broken. The excitement factor of opening is fading. It’s a dread factor more so or just disappointment expectations. I can’t get 6* champions I want to rank with the materials I am getting and there is maybe 5 5* champs I really want if that. Every 6* opening is extremely disappointing because basically there is a small handful of champs I would ever do anything with at this time.
When I have to rank up champs I find myself justifying niche uses for the champ to bring them up knowing likely I won’t use them and just don’t want to waste the materials.
Now my account is no where near that size so I can only imagine what it feels like there.
I have been contemplating a similar break that I took after I explored 5.2 because the game hit this same points. I can’t progress my 6* roster and see no point in progressing my 5* roster. Probably will once I finish Act 6 exploration.
Took about a 6-8 month break then to allow the game to catch up to a place where I actually feel like the game give me the right room to grow and the feedback loop on opening and progression is a positive one. Problem is we are crawling way worse than the right now and the pools have been so watered down that about ever 6* opening is just a drag.
And to add to it the new champs are also just more on the meh side than exciting. Making the pool worse over time not better. Only 2 this year maybe 3 out of 8 fit into the meta where they would be rabkable and usable for endgame content. And most likely that is really 1 or 2 at most to take a real roster slot from the others you already have.
All content I have cleared for the last 3 months has done nothing to make my roster better basically than it already was because the rng rewards combined with scarcity add up to just putting in the stash.. Abyss clear nothing. Act 6 clear nothing. 6.2 exploration nothing. At some point you ask why am I wasting my time on this game for if the content I’m clearing isn’t making me actually stronger in game.
Love the game spent years playing it but the feedback loop is broken. Opening a rarer crystal shouldn’t feel like dread but excitement. Problem is most people opening a 6* feel dread because it takes A long time to get there and the pool is trash for the most part . Then opening. A t5CC is dread because you need 1 of 6 to match the 1 or 2 6* you have from the trash pool you would use it on.
I do agree Act 6 was made way to champ specific and fights like the champion are not fun and you don’t get to use your roster in depth and some champs never get used at all because of this.
AQ and AW I think should be 3 weeks and 1 week should be a team event where they can get gold, potions, energy refills, BC etc...
Variants I think are amazing and so are Incursions, arena is not that fun but a way to get resources needed. The bots ruin it for a lot of people because they can’t go for the 5* champ when bots are putting up ridiculous numbers.
I still love this game and yes they need improvements like most games but he is over doing it.
