The Beta is cool and all, but if an entire Act worth of criticism didn't make Kabam change their mind on something. What's a Beta test gonna do?
They admitted that they missed the mark with Act 6 and they were trying to be better with Act 7, but if that were their intention, it would've showed up on the Beta of Act 7 instead of whatever monstrosity they've put out right now in the name of Act 7.
I think some of you guys are totally missing the boat. This post isn't about Seatin . He doesn't speak for me as well but that doesn't make his points are any less valid. Stop derailing the conversation by talking about Setain and express how you feel about the state of the game. All of you content with 18k attack in act 7, please go. This post isn't for you.
That being said act 7 needs a complete revamp. There are several nodes that you cannot one shot with any champion which isn't fun or productive. The first step for story mode is to lower the attack significantly I would suggest 6-8k and just raise the health. That way we see the difference in power with our rank ups and we're not punished simply for just playing.
This thread is getting derided by comments basically undermining Seatins credibility. Whether or not he’s a major figure, he still has some very valid arguments.
There has been other well known people to quit this game. It happens. I use to watch rizzo tx hitman, mobile gamer and more that left. People don’t play forever
Seatin is a person who makes this game more enjoyable for me. Yes, that's right. I don't know about rest of you guys, but he, with his videos, inspired me to play and inspired me to return to this game all the time after I was taking breaks. He is the only MCOC youtuber that I watch every single video of. I doubt I would play so much MCOC if Seatin wouldn't exist. I often plan to quit, but when I watch Seatin, he inspires me to continue.
If he eventually will quit - I will quit as well. I know that nobody cares that I will be leaving, just saying how much Seatin impacts the will to play this game for me.
The huge problems I saw in this game are things like repetitive Arena, AQ and AW and now Seatin states that he dislikes it as well. To be honest - everything that he said is correct. I am barely hanging in this game. I ma not sure if someone cares this much as me - but if there are a lot of people who do - oh boy, this game might have some trouble in the future...

That said, when abyss becomes preferable over act6, we know we have a problem..... The way we feel punished while opening rewards, fighting nodes, is getting tiresome. Had a few thinking about stepping out from my alliance, shows a sad state of affairs.
the fact remains there should be a steady guarantee to rewards. at the level that i'm at and MANY others, why is Joe Fixit, Kamala Khan, Iron Patriot etc ... WHY are these champs in a featured 6* hero crystal??? they serve no other purpose at this stage in the game except to say screw you for investing in our game now here's your reward.

If the content is too hard and demanding for Seatin, how much longer do you think everyone else will last? I don't have the roster Seatin does, not even close. I'm sure that is true for 95% of the player base.
Sounds to me like it is time for another 3 month long Summoner Appreciation calendar to get people to stick around while Kabam reworks core aspects of the game. It's time Kabam listened to their players, otherwise this game just got an expiration date.
Kabam will keep going with this game as long as it remains profitable, but what gives me confidence in spending my money on this game, knowing the direction it is heading? If Kabam shuts it down, all the money anyone has spent in game is gone with nothing to show for it.
Also, this is not the type of news Kabam wants if they are trying to attract new, long-term players.
With this announcement, Kabam is in trouble. The game is in trouble. You might not care about Seatin, but the points he is making are valid and need to be addressed by the developers.
That's not going to happen. And it's never going to happen. If you're gambling, there's a chance you lose, and a chance that you win. If you keep pulling "god-tier" champs, there is no point to the game. Trash champs need to be added to the 6* pool, and good champs need to be added as well to maintain that balance. It's not Kabam's fault that some of the older champs have fallen behind the meta of the game, and champions are champions in the end. However, I do think that content could be more fun and interactive instead of what it is now.
I think people are forgetting or not recognizing how much revenue Seatin creates for MCOC through his channel. So whether you care or don't care, agree, or don't agree, let him speak for you, or not; if he is in fact quitting or just stepping back, that will reduce a major revenue stream for Netmarble/Kabam/MCOC moving forward. I will say that I'm unsure what changed seemingly overnight for him because many of his points are valid, sure. But ultimately this game hasn't really changed. AW has always been a cash grab and a pita. AQ has always been monotonous. If you whale that hard then you should expect that the game will get boring, especially if you're whaling just as hard on another new game that's the shiny new toy. Get some sun Seatin! Quarantine is driving you to quit!!

You talk about balance, but if you compare the number of useless and outdated Champions to the number of Champions that have some uses, it doesn't add up.
There are so many Champions in the game that aren't great, but still have uses and aren't completely outdated. We'd love to see these characters being added, but no. Kabam keep adding trash like War Machine even though the 6* pool is STACKED with garbage Champions. That's not balance if you ask me.

@Ghostboytjie i am speaking from my own perspective. I could care less about Seatin, but I wholeheartedly agree with all his points. GW also hasn’t even started act 6 exploration, making his opinion invalid
Act 6 is not fun unless your roster is stacked to the brim, and you have a counter for every single node. Unlike act 5 where there were a multitude of options for every fight.
I dont Have Seatins as you all call it "Incredible Roster" . Yet mine is actually very lower yet i did all he did. im just hvnt done abyss since im waiting to dupe my Aegon and im slowly exploring act 6. So far its halfway and itemless
