So yesterday I went for one curiosity cav and got her:
Now, I'm mainly interested in people who either have her ranked to at least r4/r5 and/or feel like they've completely figured her out. Preferably both of course.
This is not nessecarily about me needing help with her, rather I'd like to discuss her design in general.
I did watch some r2 footage of her and she can produce some really impressive damage numbers, even without her sp2 criting she can hit quite hard interestingly enough.
However, to me she still feels lacking. Lacking in a way as if she was tuned and/or reworked before release.
As far as I understand her she's a big damage champ with some nice niche utility that rewards a rather aggressive playstyle. Especially the part of the aggressive playstyle seems obvious to me from her design. That aspect however makes me feel like she was maybe initially thought up to have some minor power control, something along the lines of light attacks producing no power and/or stealing a slim amount of power when both tempests are active.
In other words, her kit in my eyes lacks something to make her kit actually generally work without the ai playing along and being easy to bait. And it feels like that something was cut before release.
She mainly reminds me of a weird combination of havok, emma frost and maybe hela? But especially the first one, to whom I see the most resemblance, is designed in a way that fully functions in line with his kit and the resulting expected playstyle.
What do you guys think about her? She certainly doesn't seem bad, but do you feel like she was originally intended to be slightly different? Where do you see her as an useful asset to one's roster if at all?
