Game materials, champions, and device storage

I really love this game. I play it every day. But as a consequence of that, I no longer have an iPad, per se. I have a MCOC machine. Other than the operating system, there isn’t anything on my device that takes up any real storage except for this game, and I no longer have room for anything that might. So my question is, what makes up usable data on this game? If I void myself of the lowest rung of 2*s, or sell off the vast majority of the 1500+ pieces of overflow ISO I have in storage, will that free up some room? Because otherwise, I’m going to need to figure out a way to move the game to my phone temporarily if I want to do ANYTHING else with this rectangle in my hands. Thank you!

What the heck kind of iPad do you have? Mcoc takes up less than 2GB of storage on my iPhone. Even if I add in the line app and screenshots from mcoc because they are mcoc related I’m still not up to 5gb out of 64

iPad Air 2 - MCOC takes almost 4.5 GB

That doesn't sound right. Is it a double install?

Maybe? In trying to make sure my account was backed up through the Kabam login, I discovered another, untouched Summoner profile. I just don’t want to lose 4-5 years of advancement and champions.

I'd uninstall all files of MCOC. Mine shows 1.5 GB of storage.

4.0 GB Data on iPad 6th Gen.

Since Air 2 was released 2014, it's probably slow because it is just slow (compared to what is required nowadays). Not because of space taken up in Ram/Storage.

That’s not how iOS works. :(

It’s not slow, I just don’t have room for any other games of any real size.

almost 4.5 gb of space used here too. May be a clean install would get rid of previous months unused data.

Every device I play on seems to have a different amount of app data, but the app itself is always the same size; about 202.2MB. I suspect that completely uninstalling and reinstalling will lower the footprint of the larger installations; it is probably temp files or patch files that were never cleaned up, or possibly diagnostic crash dumps. The pattern seems to be that the more I play on the device, the larger the footprint is.

To the OP: all of your game play and account data is stored on Kabam's servers, not your device. So nothing you sell or delete in the game will change the amount of flash storage the game uses. Do not delete things from your account thinking it will make the game smaller on your device. That absolutely, positively, will not work. You'll just lose things for no benefit.

Just for the record, in the past players have had to uninstall and reinstall to fix certain glitches with the game. I've done it twice in the last four years. It is not something I want to do just for giggles when I'm in the middle of doing things just in case I get an App store glitch or something, but this is under normal conditions perfectly safe. Your account data is nowhere in that stuff. I mean, I got a new phone last year and loaded everything fresh, so the game technically was a completely clean install, and as soon as I logged in all my stuff was still there.
