Act 6 Changes

I think the community would like to know at least if you are considering changing Act 6 or if you plan on simply keeping it the way it is.

Yes, Act 6 is being looked at, but we don't know how just yet. I know we're going to get. a lot of feedback here, so I should let you know that first and foremost, we're looking at The Champion 6.2.6 Boss.

We want him to remain a difficult fight, but with Book 2 on the Horizon (no established date), and the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Grandmaster fight, we know that we need to go back and take a look at this fight.

Before anybody asks, I don't have any more info on the fight, or if there would be compensation.

Good start but just so you know there's a lot more stuff in act 6 that needs to be looked at.

I’ve already 100% Act 6 and I’ll tell ya, 6.2 is the worst content in this game capped by the worst fight in this game. This content that is in no way fun should have never been rolled out. Delete 4 paths from every quest, change 6.2.5 and make the Champion fight fun like the Grandmaster, not champion-counter based. Hopefully you’ve listened to feedback and Book 2 will be nothing like this garbage content.

So, if we are currently working towards exploration, should we wait and take a pause from the game? Do you know when you guys have decided on compensation?

As a player who has done all content
100% act 6 exploration is considerably harder than AOL
Act 6 cost me 10 times as many units than AOL to finish
Combination of BS nodes, combinations and gates really took my enjoyment out of the game
You are providing increased rewards for AOL the same should be for completing act 6

I just want to say: please do not simply go and nerf the Champion fight. Obviously that is great and is needed for the health of the game as many players cannot progress. However, do not ignore the fact that the entirety of Act 6 is a roadblock to exploration in itself; there are so many nodes and node combinations that require extremely niche champion uses.

I understand we have been asking for content that requires us to use lesser used champions, but these really specific nodes are not an effective way to go about it. A better way would be to make a specific node, maybe global, that gives boosts to specific lesser used champions that are available in the six-star pool. Variants have incorporated this idea, so it could be done. That way, people can use these substandard champions for something and feel a little less disappointed with them. Furthermore, do not make these nodes have a detrimental effect on every other champion, for it is extremely unreasonable and with the gold and iso-8 deficit, it’s not practical to have to rank up certain champions for one path or one fight.

Please take all of our concerns on board, as this content seriously will restrict so many players from progressing and there is little point in making an Act 7 if Act 6 is going to deter and demotivate a large majority of players.

6.2 is the reason I almost stopped playing. I just dont have skill, nerves and courage to do it. Especially for the rewards it gives

That act 6.2.6 champion boss took away all my stash unit which I purchased and which I already had, I got upto 5 prowess any how but his block penetration killed me finally. I have no desire to do act 6 or play this game or spend any more money on this game unless you do something about it. Hope you do the right thing.

If you have a Hulk Ragnarok, you can do it with him without a Heimdall synergy or fury buff in general. I did it as I was sick of waiting for good RNG and it only took 7 revives.

Are we taking months or weeks, @Kabam Miike , before anything official is out regarding if and what are getting changed? Dont wanna face The Champion multiple times, if I could have saved some hard earned units.

It is good to know that kabam is listening to the players. Act 6 has become a roadblock for most players. It's not just the difficulty, which didn't scale up as it should have, specific encounters / champions is what makes it so difficult. Many fights / paths including The Champion are unjustified. The Champion on spite / no retreat is a nightmare.

Please review entire act 6. If you can't change much, at least lower health and attack for act 6.

Yeah, I spent months of my life grinding arena to find act 6 100%, I’m not being unreasonable asking for compensation if the difficulty is lowered, it is only right

Are you serious I have him does he needs to be duped to do the fight. I am out of choices will use him if I have too cause I already have a counter for the champion already just need to get pass sinister
