**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

MCOC IN MCU

So a few days ago, I rewatched Civil War for like the millionth time (like who wouldn't), and I came up on a possible MCOC reference, where Cap pins Iron Man to the wall during the final battle. This was a fun little thing I thought I would share, and would be cool if you guys could share something like this too!

Or instead of the movie copying MCOC... MCOC copied the movie. Ya know, like every other event in the contest!! 🤯🤯

It’s not so much copying as it is networking

it kinda looks like how a player would keep fighting the opponent when they reach the wall

    That's a bit of a stretch..
Calling it a stretch is a bit of a stretch.

The Film (Ragnarok) had a reference to the game. Hence the Jeff Goldblum Challenge which he personally Tweeted about. The game works with Marvel very closely. The game has also created Marvel Characters which may not have entered the MCU, but are nonetheless Marvel Characters now.

It's not really copying. It's a partnership under contract.

In fact, I’d argue that Ragnarok was a reference to the comics from the 80s, which the game is also a reference to.

The film referenced the comic book run that has been around for decades (as someone mentioned above), in multiple series over the years too. The MCU loves throwing all sorts of comic references and Easter egg's for the die hard fans. MCOC is a nod to this, and hasn't been around for that long.

In Thor Ragnorak, hela knocks over the fake infinity gauntlet saying it’s fake. In the Odins vault battle area. The Gauntlet is now missing. (Thanos could’ve took it to but I’m not sure, and if you watch old videos before the Ragnorak update you can see the gauntlet In the back)
