Conspiracy Theory - Arena defense team

1) When playing arena, I see the same players faced in streak 10-14 on most occasions. Curious if kabaam has our account linked to a few other accounts rather than look through the entire player base and build a suitable defender team.

2) Also while in arena, I find myself fighting against Trinity/Synergy teams like blade/GR/Sparky or void/KM or Thing/Torch as examples. Some of it may be me speculating, but how is the blade trinity a random arena team to face...?

I've heard that the teams you face are actually the teams that other players use in arena, so that would mean that other players use the Trinity in arena, so you face it. I think it's mostly speculation though

#1 - it is likely that you are facing the Thanos or Kang Teams at 10-14. Those are NOT real players, they are supposed to represent Thanos or Kang tossing their best teams at you, making sure you are strong enough to get past those matches and continue into what can be an “infinite streak” against similarly ranked opponents from then on,

Good news is they don’t have any Mastery on them, so they are easier that a real opponent would be at the same Rank. But bad news for lower players, since they are at the Max Rank/Level for that particular arena, some lower players just don’t have high enough heroes to be able to beat them. **search for tips to get around that (ie, using unbalanced teams) for those matches.

And yes, there are only a handful of different combinations of opponents on those Thanos/Kang teams, so you may see the same teams over and over (the ones with Medusa, or Cable, are very common there).

I do find myself facing the same opponents and teams regularly at certain streak numbers, my best guess is that it's to do with the PI of your team at the time. So if I go through the same rotation of champs as I do and get to streak 11, then reset my streak and wait for all my champs to refresh, get to the same streak using the same champs in the same order, I end up fighting the same opponent as the previous attempt.

You're going up against anyone who started the arena. Arena algorithm selects teams based on champs from anyone doing arena. I'm sure synergy teams are programmed into the algorithm to add to the difficulty as is pairing with increasingly harder teams.

If you have the same people running arena a lot and you do arena a lot, you are going to face them. I've even faced people from my alliance numerous times.

Yep. Aside from Kang and Thanos (which come during the Streak threshold and whenever few people are playing), the Matches are the same Teams other Players have brought into the Arena, including the Masteries they're using. The Arena takes a snapshot of what you use and pairs it with AI controls. That's what we come up against.
