What's so special about human torch?

So I have him at rank 4. He is a decent champ for sure. But I don't understand why he is known as beyond god tier. He does do great against mystic champions but during normal matches it's he is just normal demi God type. Am I playing him wrong? Are there any synergies needed for him to be beyond God tier? I have trouble keeping the temperature up, any suggestions on how to maximize his potential? Thank you in advance.

    i just took him to r2 as a 6* and honestly if you keep his temp up above 10 at least and have a couple of stacks of smoulder, he melts anyone
