Rank up regrets?

Have you ever ranked up any champion and later regret since he/she was not up to your expectation? Mine was Proxima Midnight to R3, she was not even useful for this boss rush

Sentinel - a passenger to Ghost, SESM & Warlock during my v3 completion. Hopefully he'll be useful in exploration.

Medusa - only user her in arena despite now being in act 6.3 though I have her awakened and ranked to r3 since 5.2. Maybe she will help with that DarkHawk boss?

Oml r4 a month before his buffed version was released

i took mine to rank 3 because i thought the buff was coming earlier turns out i had wait 3 months till the buff actually came.

stark spidey- took him to rank 4 back when he was my only good tech champion, now that i have a rank 4 and a 6* ghost, he doesn't get any use

guillotine 2099- i only used her in lol and that's it, hate having to use end on a sp3 every fight just to keep up the damage

I ranked ghost up to rank 4 and weeks later I pulled the 6* one. The only reason I don't regret that is because now i can take 5* ghost into aq and bring no one else.

I’m not saying there aren’t champs I’d want to rank both 5 and 6*...I have 5* r5 sig 200 CapIW and the day I dupe or awaken the 6* he’ll be r2...but I have 5* r4 Havok and IMIW plus both 6* r1 sig 40...no chance I ever use double of either champ.

probably G2099 to R5 even though I can barely maintain a 5 hit combo

well now I can. and I have almost no regrets ranking her up, because my only tech 5* is a duped civil warrior.

Starky and Stealth to R4. Hate both of them. R4 Rhino was my first R4. Got Domino and instantly took her to R5, hate using her. She sits and does nothing for me.

i prefer ranking up characters i like from films and comics, and making them work in my team

R4 Symbiote Spidey and Nightcrawler.

It was 2016, and evasion actually counted for something then. Now, they only get used for diversity or arena.

Ranking up Dormammu to 5*/R4. Needed a power control champ (no Magik, Vision etc) and he'd got synergy with Blade. It's not Dormammu's playstyle that bothers me - I got used to it. The problem is that he causes so little damage with his attacks even at rank 4.

I dumped a bunch of Sig stones into my 5* Nick Fury and used a skill awakening gem on my Blade.

Corvus to R4. A couple weeks after I did that I naturally pull a 6*. Cull to R5. I was so enamored with his massive damage that I paid no attention to how useless he’d be in endgame content. And I chose not to rank him down, so now he just sits on my bench.

When they rebalanced Cull and Namor they offered to sell the champions and recoup any gems, sigs, etc put into them
