@Ghostboytjie i would guess as others September maybe even longer, depending on the RoadMap on friday, it could take the rest of the year to change the game based on the feedback from players.
This is why I never have a problem with them staying silent until they have something concrete to say. They say one bit of something and people read into and draw their own conclusions and get a completely different idea in their head before a decision has even been made or announced. They haven't committed to changing anything at this point. They said the champion fight specifically is being looked at but not a whole lot else. That doesn't even mean that one fight is guranteed to be altered let alone all of Act 6. If it doesn't get changed now you're gonna have people like this coming out with the "but but but you said" even though nothing of the sort was guranteed.

I get your point, but saying they would look at The Champion, and then end up deciding the fight is fine, would make no sense - and leave the community unnecessarily disappointed. Personally, I dont think the changes will be mindblowing, and probably will only affect The Champion fight. I dont expect them to change attackvalues, gates or other bosses. If Im wrong, it will be a pleasant suprise.

When your parents said "they'll think about something or talk about something" there was still always the possibility of a no coming. It would make some disappointed. Some like myself don't see any reason for it to be changed. Possibly the no retreat node but that's about it. Do I care if they do? No but I'm sure not gonna be up in arms if they don't.Anytime they say a little something before a final announcement is made this happens though. They say X people hear Y. When they end up not getting what they want it's roll around on the floor kicking and screaming time.

They never said they were going to change anything. I want them to communicate more, and invite us to see into their process, but as you pointed out, this is what ruins it. People will clearly be upset if they never change Act 6. Unlike you I see several things they can change (even in the champion fight without ruining the core mechanics), but when people jump to conclusions off the announcement we got, it's a reminder why they don't do that more often.

Yes, this is exactly why Kabam held off releasing content and committed to releasing a road map. While I agree they have not committed to changing anything , even the no retreat node removal will constitute change. It would be crazy to look at it and say, it was fine when there are threads popping up all over about act 6 and specifically champion fight. Sometimes, it feels like people who have completed act 6 simply want everyone to suffer like they did.

Change it or don’t, ‘look at it’ is too loose considering how triggering that fight is for most people. If they’re not set on changing anything, there’s no point in announcing anything, especially with how reactionary people become. If they come out and decide that it’s fine as is I think the outpouring of angst will be pretty spectacular.Really, they should have looked at the fight and decided it needed retuning, prepped the changes then made the announcement, or looked at the fight decided it was fine and just kept Pandora’s box closed.

Same here and I have stated this multiple times too. My only issue is the tone that you send the message is important. It's better to simply say "It will be in the road map" than saying you guys need to stop screaming or whining or the like. It is needlessly antagonistic. Thank you for the civil response.

But the complaining has gotten way out of hand lately. It just gets old. People have gotten to the point that they're almost asking for a whole new game design which is just silly.I understand people are unhappy currently and a lot of their points are completely valid. Just as many aren't remotely valid though. Any time someone disagrees with the mob they just get called a shill or the fact that I'm a heavy spender should invalidate my opinion. Do I like their direction with content design? Absolutely not. Do I think people have any valid reason to be having complaining sessions bc they got a bad 6* in a game where that's completely random? Absolutely not. If you disagree with the mob here though it just turns into spamming caps lock and talking about "fairness"

Absolutely not. If you disagree with the mob here though it just turns into spamming caps lock and talking about "fairness" You are not wrong but the reason the complaints are in such great volume is because it’s like 1 to 1.5 years of bad decisions by kabam that built up. There were flair ups of dissent prior but in drips and drabs. I relate it to being married. A lot of times the argument just isn’t worth it, so you bite your tongue. After biting your tongue enough times for long enough the eventual explosion usually exceeds the rational response to what is happening currently. The community is having an irrational response because collectively we have been biting our tongue for too long.
I think kabam has earned that though. Yes some of it is petty, sure personally I have been petty as well. Just think about 6.2 champion. A difficult fight with few counters. Some counters worked really well. What was Kabams response? Nerf she hulk, going through with changing Morningstar interaction. This is just an instance, but time and time again this frame of adjustments because things are too good for the players appear to be more prevalent than the inverse. Players have been warning them about things for a while, 6* gates, sinister fight, class gates, health and attack pools, etc. and the response is acid wash sinister, gimme vtd, special con path, then the act 7 beta which was everything prior on steroids times 2. They earned what is happening now, they have no one else to blame
You don't get to let Kabam off the hook on communication just simply because people complain too much. They have done a poor job at communication for quite sometime and the complaints people have today is nothing new. If Kabam looks at all complaining the same that is their fault but they have legitimate players in the CCP who can decipher between just crying and what complaints are legitimate for players. If they removed act 6 gates, and tuned down Mr. Sinister and the champion boss we wouldn't need this thread at all. I personally gave them feedback about it because I went into act 6.2 the first day it was released and expressed concerns and we have whole threads that did the same. Kabam has created majority of these complaints due to inaction.
