I want 5-star Doctor Strange, but...

I am an old-schooler, and I play this game as a mix of primarily collection and then completion of content.

I have taken six shots at the current 5-star featured for good old Stephen Strange, and totally would’ve been happy with an Abomination or Electro. Again, I don’t need them to clear anything.

But. No joy...yet.

As I type this, there’s about 13 hours left in this version of the featured. I have 9830 shards. I only need 11K to take one more shot at this.

Should I grind out some Modok event for those last shards? Will it be lucky No. 7?

Or should I just say it’s not meant to be and wait to see who is in the new batch tomorrow?

Decisions, decisions.

No real point to this thread...just one of those choices that present themselves in this game that I find part of the fun

I don’t regret this rank 5 decision at all. Got him when his GMC first released. Doom and Silver Surfer synergize really well with Strange too, and at sig 200 I never have to worry about Buff heavy champs. Throw in CapIW to do a little extra damage per nullify.

Strange SHOULD be reverted to his pre 12.0 self. Doesn’t need a complete rework, just dial him back at least 50% to what he was.

He still wouldn’t be the most powerful Mystic, but he’d be a top option.

I definitely went for it again, but got...a Sig 40 Sentinel. Not a bad pull, not complaining.

But, I have a 6-star Sentinel. So I won’t be ranking the 5-star up.

But that’s how it goes sometimes, you know?
