I think you'll still see quite a few outliers at the end of this season. A lot of the upper mid alliances that have been fighting it out around Gold 1/2 will probably finish higher than they typically "should" this season. They're the ones that will probably have a higher amount of mismatches in their favor and will have quite a few wars with inflated points from opponents not clearing the map.

So if your one of those alliances that ends up with a very padded season score at the end of this one, you shouldn't necessarily assume you'll be there are even close to there once matches even out more
I agree with this 100%. I think it will take 2 or possibly 3 seasons to realy level the playing field.

Yeah I think a lot of the people saying things will even out after a week or two are way off.

Yeah, those alliances have a much lower war rating than they would have if they weren’t facing strong high prestige alliances, so it’s basically the same effect as tanking, this season is going to be all over the place until alliances get into their real position for their strength skill and effort put into war, those alliances getting matched with much stronger alliances they just can’t win against will place lower since they’re getting a higher amount of losses, it’s a great change for the long term, it’s just going to mess up rankings for this season a bit

Not really. I don't see those alliances making massive gains in war rating once matches even out. They'll be back to matching against alliances their own strength and winning a similar percentage of their wars to before.

Up until now the wars my alliance has been in were equal in strength, prestige, alliance rating, and alliance war rating... we finished gold 2 because we won almost every war... and not due to matchmaking being unfair... majority of the time it was very close win or lose... i don't think ccrider474 should be annoyed that that other alliance was in the same tier... he should be annoyed that kabam does a horrible job at matchmaking...

If you guys think an alliance that wins almost every war deserves to be placed in stone, bronze, or silver because they don't have an alliance rating of 50,000,000... then you are morons... I'm not saying that an alliance shouldn't have some tough matches... but to give a strong alliance such an easy win?... what part of that is fair at all?... the real problem is that they don't have it set up to where low rated alliances can be in a different bracket than all the high rated ones... giving them an opportunity to make gold and platinum at the end of the season...

But in the end it's the way it always goes... kabam doesn't care about the game or its players... they care about the money... and the top tier alliances have most likely dropped some serious dime on this game... so kabam will continue to make everything easier for high rated players while pissing on the rest of us...

haha. You want to get P4 rewards with your 4* attcker bc you defeat some other 4* defender. Sorry mate. Thats not how it will be in the future. If you want that P4 you will do beat alliances in Gold 1. And I mean 30 million alliances as well.

To be honest Im not sure if we are able to keep our place bc we have a kinda low prestige so we should have had easier matches in the past.
But at least we are not gonna cry about it on the forum.

But a 10k prestige alliance in plat 1/2 is not absurd given a high level of skill. A 6k prestige alliance in plat 3/4 is.

If you want even fights then you’re gonna have to drop in the rankings to where the others of your level are. Otherwise you’re table scraps for a better team that EARNS the rewards in that tier now.

Just to be clear, I don't blame Kabam. I don't agree with the decision to handle it like this, but they were trying to make people happy as quickly as possible, given the fact that the climate didn't exactly exude patience.

If alliances that different are in the same tier how is that fair anyway? The extremely weak alliances got there by facing other weak alliances, and the strong ones have been held back because they face other strong alliances, the individual matchups may be even, but it’s casing a problem where really strong alliances can’t move up because they’re only facing other really strong alliances, despite far weaker ones being at the same tier and ranking just as high

Why do you keep implying I'm here for myself? Our last War was pretty even and we won. We had a hard Season last Season, and went down to Silver 1. We just didn't win enough. I'm not here complaining about that. That was no one's shortcoming but our own. Our Matches were fair.
I'm here because if something is wrong, it's wrong. No amount of justification and arguing among us will make it right. I'm not here for myself. I'm here to speak up to the reality that it's not rainbows and lollipops, and changing it shouldn't have come at the expense of honest game play.

The part that is really gonna hurt some alliances is when they figure out how crappy the season rewards are at their true level. After this season is over and you get your rewards and they are incredibly low compared to last season I have a little exercise for you. Imagine that it happened to you for 5 seasons in a row no matter how hard you fought and participated. Now imagine you are a 40 mill plus alliance that has not one member that hasn’t played actively for at least 3 years. From gold1 to silver over that 5 seasons. How is that fair? I’ll tell you. It’s not fair. Or balanced. Or a realistic measure of an alliances true skills. We shall see soon enough.
