Why I hate kamala?

For obvious reasons her lack of damage and utility (besides the fact she took down champion boss but that takes maximum skill) but most of all it’s this face. I hate it so much. Kabam Ik it’s not big deal but I don’t even care about her buff just change the sp3 animation 😭

I hate the actual character. Plain and simple, I think she is a ridiculously awful character. I would never play her even if she got a massive buff/rework.

Kamal is a very recent addition to Marvel. MCOC adopted kamala very early. Hence the outdated design. Its honestly pretty bad. And this is coming from a desi guy as well.
She will soon be introduced into the MCU. She is the protagonist main payable characters in the upcoming PS4/PS5 Marvel's Avengers. Her costume design is much better in that game.
Her story arc is very impressive. An ordinary fan girl living in the Marvel universe. Great story except...she is biggest fan of Captain Marvel. Yuck. Yew. Captain Marvel's story is pathetic. I still don't understand. How. Why.

She’s actually pretty great. Her comic arc is also pretty neat, and she’s now a champion (in the comics) which means she’s in Outlawed.

She has some great utility, and can counter V3 Rogue among other things. She’s not the best cosmic, but she can do quite a few things. She doesn’t really need a buff, but if she does she would only need a update or whatever Falcon and Gambit are getting.

I have 5 star awakened... She's pretty good... Fury and critical damage is awesome... I don't know why people hate her...

She’s such an early character that I’d say she isn’t very well designed honestly. To that point she’s such an early character that instead of having any armor break mechanic in her kit she has armor nullification lol, which just makes her such a bizarre cosmic champion, but at least luckily she’s poison immune.

When I play her she feels awkward, unsatisfying, compared to Hyperion who isn’t all that different, but a more fully realized vision of her. The basic goal with both is just to stack furies and smash, but with Hyperion, to me, it just feels a lot more satisfying. With Kamala it just constantly feels like I’m having to work to maintain her damage and it’s because of that constant chase that I don’t enjoy playing her. Maybe if she was even more burstier, she would be more satisfying idk. The delay needed to build furies on her heavy, not even even including the fury cap, is such a buzzkill especially compared to Hyperions. Her inability to stack furies with her sp3 is also very underwhelming and disappointing. She’s also bugged so when the nullify on her specials more then likely gets fixed she’ll lose her best mechanic. I guess it can be said she’s not a bad champion, but it’s not hard to see why a majority of the players aren’t in love with her.
